Use Cases

Automatic Transport of Corrugated Boxes From Production to Outbound

Use Case 1 - Schnellecke Logistics

Schnellecke has automated repetitive pallet transport between production and packaging using the XP15 pallet truck. The XP15 autonomously moves pallets, minimizing manual handling and improving material flow without changing existing workflows. Key advantages include:

  • With the keypad and call box functions, employees can easily assign or call transport tasks at any workstation
  • Pallets are delivered or picked up automatically at designated points in the warehouse

Warehouse workers are now focused on higher-value tasks which results in greater efficiency and productivity.

Automatic Transport of Parts Across Production Zones

Use Case 2 - Caterpillar

The XP15 automatically transports goods from a pick-up area to a storage point and returns to its waiting position, forming a simple closed loop. At the storage point, goods are automatically unloaded before the XP15 drives back empty, ready for the next task.

This taxi-mode setup enables continuous, hands-free material flow between production and storage with minimal operator involvement.

Automatic Transport From Incoming Goods to Storage

Use Case 3 - Ehlert Food & Beverage

The XP15 automatic pallet truck moves incoming goods to storage areas in front of the racking, efficiently covering large spaces and multiple halls. It performs both manual pick-up and automatic transport by the push of a button, seamlessly working alongside other material handling equipment in their facility. After drop-off, reach trucks take over to complete the storage process. Key advantages:

  • Customisable with keypad control, multi-drop-off, and multiple route options

Automatic Transport From Wrapping Machine to Outbound

Use Case 4 - ID Logistics

ID Logistics has transitioned from using manual ride-on pallet trucks to the XP15 pallet truck, enabling automatic transport of goods from the wrapping machine to the outbound staging area. At the wrapping station, goods are manually loaded onto the XP15. With the press of a button, the pallet truck automatically travels across the warehouse to the outbound area, where it neatly drops off the pallets in designated columns.

Automatic Pallet Transport From Inbound Goods to Buffer Storage

Use Case 5 - De Klok Logistics

At De Klok Logistics, goods are manually unloaded from lorries using standard ride-on pallet trucks and placed at a designated transfer point. From there, the RPL201-X takes over. Operators simply select the correct column or task number on the keypad, and the goods are automatically transported across the hall to the respective buffer storage area. There, pallets are sorted again for outbound shipping.

The EXP20 is an operator-friendly solution designed for heavy loads and long-distance transport, combining manual and automatic operations in logistics centers.

Smart Material Flow Between Production Halls with the XP15

Use Case 6 - Voestalpine

The XP15 supports production line feeding by transporting chassis parts to fully automated robot manufacturing lines and returning with empty stillages. The truck is designed for flexible, real-world manufacturing environments including  uneven outdoor floors and between halls.

With a 1,500 kg capacity and ability to handle oversized stillages, the XP15 covers material flows often left outside the scope of traditional automation.
Custom options include:

  • special load sizes
  • integration with automatic doors.
